Description
Our client is currently looking for a Voice Systems Engineer who has experience with Cisco Call Manager 4.x, 5x with in-depth experience configuring and understanding of partitions, Call Search Space, route patterns, gateways,
knowledge on how to run CM traces and looking at system logs, event viewer,
upgrading systems and clusters to new versions.

Signaling would be ISDN PRI, ESF, B8ZS, H323 gateway protocol, MGCP and SCCP.

In order to be considered for employment, the qualified candidate will meet the following criteria:
Unity experience should include, building a system, configuring users,
networking Vmail with VPIM, MS Exchange message store (both on box and off
box), SQL, network teaming, System Backups and restores, Upgrading Unity to
newer versions.

Router/ Data - experience with 37xx, 38xx, 28xx router platforms 12.3 and
12.4 IOS code, 3560 POE switches, familiar with Frame-relay and DS3 fan-out
Wide area circuits. Headend routers 76xx and 72xx . Voice configs include
QoS and traffic shaping, DSP farms for local transcoding and conferencing,
dial-peers for VoIP and pots, H323 gateway parameters including experience
with Telco and the CO switches (DMS, 5E, 4E, Siemens), Survivable Remote
Site Telephony (SRST) configs. Running router debugs, debugging ISDN
signaling, Dchan and Bchan issues. FXS and FXO vics/modules. Understanding
of DHCP and TFTP services, IP addressing schemes, VLAN's.

Other Telco would be any interaction coordinating and turning up circuits
and services, experience with Telco and the CO switches (DMS, 5E, 4E,
Siemens), Telco lingo and termination equipment (ie smartjack, rj21, 66
blocks, 110 frames) Pots services, DID and DOD trunks, T1, DS3, sonet ring,
tie down knowledge.
