Our experiences and capabilities expand both the public and private domains.Responsibilities:* Carry out vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on a wide range of information technology in support of the C&A (certification and accreditation) process, specifically with the NIST 800 series.* Working with common commercial and/or open source vulnerability assessment tools and techniques used for evaluating operating systems, networking devices, databases and Web applications.* Will involve about 10% travel.Requirements:* 9+ years of experience in vulnerability assessment or a technical field within information security, as well as a degree in a related field. If no degree, must possess 10 years of related experience. * Security certifications (eg, CISSP, GIAC, GPEN) and technical certifications (eg MCSE, CNE, CCDP). * Experience with Web Applications and services, Web Development, Java, Perl, Ruby, C++ Programming, Solaris, or Database (Oracle and SQL) skills. * Experience with the NIST 800 series of documents. * Must be able to quickly master new technology/software for the purposes of evaluating the security functionality of the technology/software.
