Job Classification: Web Engineer 6

Position Description: Experience Level: 10 or more years technical background and 6+ years directly related Web engineering experience.

Description: Consults at the highest technical level with clients and IT management and staffs enterprise-wide on design, planning, integration, implementation, scalability, problem definition and resolution of Web and E-commerce engineering issues involving the interrelated demands of hardware, software, telecommunications, security and control.

In this dynamic position you will play a key role within the team. You will be the single point of contact throughout the project life cycle of several key initiatives and will be expected to provide leadership and consultation on those projects from inception to implementation. Your design skills, attention to detail, follow through and integrity will be critical to the success of the project. In addition, you will provide support, maintenance, implementation, training and security for your project and a wide diversity of other applications already implemented.

Key Skills Needed:
- Design new WebLogic and other Middleware environments based on measured server metrics to ensure stability and performance goals are achieved.
- Possess a good understanding of processes around IT Service Management
- Demonstrated experience in Administration and Engineering with Linux/Unix/Solaris operating systems in a mid- to large-size production environment.
- Expertise with Web and Middleware environments (Apache, Tuxedo, IIS, Weblogic, JRE)
- Shell Scripting or python experience in server administration.
- - Can interview and work in either Minneapolis or San Francisco without any assistance. (Relocation not available)
