Title: Waste Water Plant Operator

This position requires experience with UPW (Ultra Pure Water) production and distribution systems associated with the semiconductor industry. This includes a working knowledge of the specialized components, piping and other materials typically used in the construction, maintenance and operation of UPW systems. In addition, this position requires a good understanding of field protocols and procedures for ppt ionic sampling and aseptic sampling for bacteria. The technician is required to have a working knowledge of lab equipment and procedures used to measure bacteria levels in low-nutrient media. The technician will be required to set-up and operate portable, on-line instrumentation on UPW systems to accurately collect, record, and report quality data. The technician will be required to collect and transport ultra-high purity samples without contaminating the sample or the system being tested. The technician must have knowledge of chemicals used in the semiconductor industry and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) needed; special emphasis on the use of 30% hydrogen peroxide and IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) for sanitization of sampling ports and devices. The technician must be qualified and willing to operate TI vehicles (golf cart; on site only) used to transport samples and equipment. The technician will be required to use computers, Microsoft Office software, and other software to process and report data. Minimum 1-2 years experience required.

Experience/Skills
Responsible for hands-on facilities site operations maintenance, including:

. Sustaining operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for plant equipment associated with industrial/hazardous waste treatment, and de-ionized water treatment.

. Manual data recording for control logs related to instrumentation, flow meters and level sensors.

. Minimum 5 years experience with hands-on maintenance for power plants/chemical plants with waste treatment

. Wastewater Treatment license a plus
. Microsoft Excel
. Ability to lift 25 lbs without assistance
. Ability to climb a ladder without assistance
. Self starter, highly motivated
