• Development and implementation of web-based products and content for www.crainsnewyork.com:

-dynamic HTML pages

-client side scripting

-creation and modification of Content Management System programming technologies

Job Requirements:

• BA/BS in Computer Science
• 2+ years experience developing interactive, dynamic, data-driven websites
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  Drive to develop new skills
• BA or BS/MS in computer science or related
  A solid, hands-on knowledge of cross-platform web development (HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, XML)
  Experience building large, object-oriented web sites in multi-tiered architectures (.NET, Java, or PHP)
  A true self starter, learns quickly
  Strong knowledge and understanding of current and upcoming Web 2.0 technologies (Movable Type, AJAX, Django, Ruby on Rails) and standards
  Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Knowledge of Linux, RedHat, Apache servers
