Web Application Developer

PCR is currently seeking a strong Web Application Developer for a 3 months contract to hire role with one of our retained clients in Charlotte, NC. The selected candidate will be responsible for custom application development from eCommerce to Content Management Systems for a diverse client base.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in ColdFusion and .NET (C#). Previous LAMP stack experience is a plus; however, not required. Selected candidate will also work closely with the interactive production team consisting of engineers, architects, project managers, marketers and designers.

Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years experience in Web Application Development. Ideally potential candidates should have professional experience working with Web based marketing and design firms. Potential candidate should offer a broad technical skill set with the proven ability to discern the appropriate technologies necessary to meet the business unit's requirements and client needs.

Required Skills Include:

• 5-7 Years overall professional experience in Web Design and Web Application development


• 3-5 Years ColdFusion experience


• 3-5 Years .NET (C#) experience


• 3-5 Years experience with Microsoft SQL Server


• 2-3 Years experience with T-SQL


• Exposure to other Relational Database Experience


• 5 Years HTML and DHTML experience


• Proven ability to code by hand, with no aid from Dreamweaver, FrontPage etc.


• Familiar with the basics of XML


• 4 Years eCommerce and Content Management experience

Propensity to learn the following:

• Knowledge of PHP, Classic ASP, or ColdFusion


• Basic knowledge of Ajax


• JavaScript


• Basic knowledge of Rich Media and Mobile Technology


• Familiarity with non Web based .NET apps
