-Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Marketing or related field
-Minimum of 3 to 4 years of interactive Web experience, with 2 to 3 years focusing in Web content development
-Must have experience with Content Management System (CMS) functionality and utilization
-Experience writing under existing editorial style
-Combination of technical aptitude and writing skills
-Ability to understand complex content dependencies for content that is shared across country sites and translated into multiple languages
-Project management skills
-Ability to work independently, be self-directed and proactive, and work effectively with marketing and international sponsors

Job Description:
The Interactive Communications (IC) Content Strategist is responsible for delivery of Web content within the context of a content management system (CMS). The Content Strategist must understand project needs, determine impact on existing content, understand and manipulate a matrix of new and existing content properties, write contextually appropriate Web content, and negotiate content revisions. The focus area is the restructuring of marketing and support content and the extension of that content to international country sites, including coordination of translations.

Responsibilities may include:
-Work with project sponsors, Managing Editors, and related IC disciplines to understand content needs and project scope
-Determine impact of project requests at granular level and deliver content impact assessment document
-Determine business value of localization requests, negotiating specifics with project sponsors
-Understand content matrix containing asset-level detail, including metadata values that govern content behavior (placement within site structure, geographic distribution, translations)
-Review and edit content provided by external sources
-Engage in iterative content processes, negotiating input and revisions from multiple subject matter experts
-Publish, verify, and troubleshoot source and translated content in various test environments
-Perform quality assurance checks on published content
-Ensure content compliance with editorial guidelines
