What you need for this position:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of professional Web design experience including optimizing of sites for performance, conversion, and search engine rankings (SEO)
- Fluency in CSS, HTML and JavaScript with understanding of cross-browser design issues and clean work-arounds
- Portfolio demonstrating ability to create professional looking bitmap and vector graphics for the Web media
- 2+ years of professional experience with a programming language (C, C++, Java, Perl, Ruby etc).
- Working knowledge of SQL at the command line, Web Servers (CGI, HTTP)
- Working knowledge of Unix environment
- Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ambitious problem solver with passion for online businesses

What you'll be doing:
- Contributing to the development of our high-traffic consumer Web properties
- Designing and developing the Front End of Web properties from concept to integration into the production environment
- Optimizing sites and improving search engine optimization
- Performing competitive analysis
- Testing of variations, application of best practices, and understanding of consumer behavior from reports and database queries.
