CDI has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are looking for exceptional people to help us grow! We have an immediate need for a Sr. Web Developer!

We are looking for a Sr. Web Developer to play an integral role in designing our enterprise-class J2EE applications. The ideal candidate is able to learn and adapt quickly, demonstrates strong business acumen, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Produces innovative object-oriented designs and works with other members of the development team to refine and implement the designs.
-Translates designs and proposes designs that are: into elegant and sophisticated solutions; that meet established performance and scalability standards; that meet established security, privacy, and compliance standards; promote low-cost, low-risk extensibility; that satisfy high-availability requirements at all layers of the application solutions: that facilitate multi-platform application and database server support.
-Researches and proposes information system solutions to meet emerging market challenges; Researches and recommends tools and processes that will provide cost-effective competitive advantage.
Internal Responsibilities:

Minimum Knowledge, Competencies & Qualifications:
-7+ years of development experience Expert-level practical competency with J2EE application design and development
-Bachelor's degree
-Extensive experience with JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, Ajax
-Extensive experience with Design Patterns
-Excellent understanding of Struts 1 framework; Understanding of Struts 2 framework a plus
-Experience with Prototype, Scriptaculous JavaScript libraries a plus
-Extensive experience in design and development of enterprise-class J2EE applications
-Prior experience with object relational mapping tools: Hibernate, Spring Framework, Top Link, RubyonRails and DWR a plus
-Familiarity with large-team software development and release cycles
-Experience with SQL and PL/SQL a plus
-Specific prior design experience with highly-available decision support solutions a plus
-Ability to understand business conditions and drivers of economic success in the company's marketsdf-tc
