Description
This Web Developer role calls for a developer with 2 to 5 years of experience to help support and enhance our central web analytics solution which is leveraged across a large number of web sites. This role will serve as a primary point to the production teams to help integrate and then support the solution. As such, this candidate should have experience components of the web development skill set including; Flash, HTML, JavaScript, server side scripting language, site maintenance and troubleshooting.



The candidate is expected to perform autonomously in a dynamic fast-paced environment, have a strong attention to detail, and have a clear understanding of the business unit project development process. This candidate must effectively work with members on both business and technical teams to deliver co-owned projects successfully and on time without limited oversight.

Technical support and solution development


Unit and System Testing

Analysis of Documentation




QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS And JavaScript

Must be detail orientated, self-organized, and capable of simultaneously tracking multiple issues of varying complexity

Excellent communication skills to technical and non technical audiences

Experience with ASP/JSP/PHP or similar service side scripting language

Experience with Object Oriented Programming

Proven ability to work with all members of a extended and diverse project team

Hands-on structured programming experience

Analytical mindset

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related experience



SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED

1-3 years of web development, including DHTML, CSS and JavaScript

1-3 years experience with ASP/JSP/PHP or other server side scripting language

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with complex applications developed across multiple development environments

Ability to use experience to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot issues

Experience interpreting and translating business requirements into technical requirements

Strong understand of Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns

Experience with source control systems (Perforce, SVN, CVS, etc.)
