Description
Dallas based company has an immediate need for a Senior Web Developer for a permanent position.
. Design and develop applications both internal and external clients
. Modify existing implementations based on client needs
. Rebuild, retest and deploy applications into production environment
. Work with business experts to create and enhance the software product through the implementation lifecycle
. Test all components including database, DLLs and web interface
. Develop system specifications and system documentation
. Identify software defects and ensure quality
Serve as a resource to other members of the programming team.
Qualifications include:
.BS degree in Computer Science, Technical degree or equivalent education
.In-depth Internet development experience
.Experience with online interactive database applications
.Experience working with and developing components in a multi-tier architecture
.Experience in developing large applications for Intranets or migrating existing applications to Intranets highly preferred
.Knowledge of DCOM, COM/COM+/MTS, ADO, XML, Visual Basic, Source Safe Livelink, Visual Interdev, Oracle and/or similar tools required.
