We are looking to fill an Applications Consultant position, within the applications development group, supporting Humana's fast growing Individual business.

This position requires deep and broad IT solution development experience coupled with strong conceptual design and communications skills. The individual in this position will be responsible for web development projects. Experience demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of programming and design principles, methodologies, tools and techniques is required. Additionally, the individual will be accountable for understanding the business needs of the organization, and translating those needs into design specifications.

Qualified candidates will have strong knowledge of:

- ASP.NET and ASP
- ADO.NET
- SQL Server 2000 and extensive T-SQL coding experience a plus
- C# for ASP.NET
- OO experience
- Web Services experience
- XML, XSD experience
- Web, Application and SQL DB development/support
- Excel / VB Script.
