Description
Position Summary: The computer professionals in this position work with an analyst to analyze business problems and then design, code, test, and support database driven ebusiness computer programs to solve those problems. Responsibilities include designing, documenting, programming, testing, and maintaining software applications using ASP.NET, ASP, HTML, Javascript, SQL Server, Access, and other development tools. This position requires advanced programming skills, using and teaching proper programming standards and techniques, providing estimates, and meeting timelines.
Duties And Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Conducts business requirements analysis to understand the business problems at hand.
Designs and documents technical solutions and data models that meet the current and anticipated future business requirements.
Codes and tests interactive client server or ebusiness computer programs based on the technical design. Coordinates his/her programming efforts with other client server programmers as well as RPG programmers and Internet programmers.
Supports and de-bugs interactive computer programs.
Maintains a thorough understanding of the evolving capabilities of the development tools being used at Company Headquarters.
Develops and manages project plans.

Experience/Skills
Bachelor's Degree in a computer science related field or equivalent experience required. Three years medium/large scale web development experience required. 1-2 years web development experience in ASP and HTML required. 1-2 years experience using relational databases (e.g. SQL Server) required. 1-2 years web development experience with ASP.NET strongly preferred. Knowledge of and experience with HTML compression and code optimization strongly preferred. Development experience in VisualBasic.NET and XML preferred. One year of experience documenting business requirements and defining and documenting associated technical requirements preferred. One year of experience designing technical solutions using Data Modeling and GUI Design Tools is strongly preferred.
