We are currently seeking a Web Developer for a contract with an initial term of 6 months.

Summary:

Will be part of a group responsible for the analysis and reporting of all web traffic on client's major websites. Processing over a million customer, participant, and prospect visits per day, the WebStats group combines capabilities in operations, large-scale data warehousing and database architecture, analytical design and highly visual reporting sub-systems.

We are actively looking for a Senior Software Engineer Developer with a high level of data visualization development experience to be directly involved in the development, architecture and delivery of highly critical and complex analytics reporting projects.

Responsibilities:

Review and advise on technical data visualization, design specifications and innovative graphic system solutions.

Design web graphic applications on critical projects and subsystems.

Work actively with other developers, architects and managers within area to address web site technology initiatives.

Identify innovative web graphic development tools and methodologies to meet data visualization toolkit system standards and business needs.

Experience/Skills
Qualifications:

5 years + experience working in a large-scale IT environment

3 years + experience in the design and development of Rich Internet Applications Web applications using (PERL, DHTML, Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL, PHP)

Some background in the following a plus (Apache, Corda, Sun Solaris, UNIX, Oracle, BRIO, JSP, C#, IBI Webfocus)

Proven experience in designing and developing large scale enterprise Graphic WEB applications

Strong team player that has extensive web development experience and Visual design experience

Be committed to working in a multi-site team environment and help facilitate work done offshore and onshore

Strong technical skills capable of coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously

Oracle data management knowledge a plus

Very strong visual and analytical skills

Knowledge or understanding in the ins and outs of DHTML and JavaScript based web applications a plus

An individual in this position will work on multiple IT platforms and systems

Knowledge of RSS also a plus.
