Irvine Technology is currently seeking a Web Developer. This is a 4 Month Contract to hire opportunity with a high profile "open source" solutions service provider based in Mountain View, CA.

This individual will work with UI designers and software engineers to develop and maintain web applications. They will be involved in designing and documenting specifications (wireframes / documentation/static/interactive prototypes). They will also be responsible for staying abreast of new web technologies and promoting best practices.

Qualifications:

-Must have a minimum of 3 years of web development experience working in a face paced environment

-Experience with JSP, PHP, and XUL a plus

-Must have strong communication skills working with cross functional groups and remote team members

-Familiarity with the open source ecosystem a plus
