We have an excellent opportunity for a Web Developer to join our organization in Carol Stream.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: 4 Year Technical Degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: minimum 2 years of experience in a software development role with internet/web and/or client/server systems. Experience with internet/web development including some extranet/e-commerce implementations. 2-3 years using Microsoft .NET technologies including ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, XML, and SQL Server. Microsoft .NET Certification a plus.

Exposure to Microsoft development platforms such as Content Management Server or Sharepoint are a plus, but not required.

SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Applicant will see project implementations through entire software development lifecycle. These projects will be designed for use in internal as well as external customer facing systems. Internal functional areas include, but are not limited to manufacturing, marketing, finance and human resources. External systems will be developed in the areas of general web presence, customer service, e-commerce and B2B collaboration / business processes. Work will include analyzing existing programs and /or formulating logic for new systems.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Activities
?Understands system requirements and participates in designing application solutions to meet business needs.
?Performs system analysis, design and programming on internal productivity tools and external internet/web portals.
?Designs web user interfaces and incorporates 3rd party controls where needed.
?Designs and develops SQL queries, stored procedures and functions required to meet application requirements.
?Performs unit and system testing to ensure system operates as designed.
?Works closely with application development manager on architectural integration of applications.
