Description
Reputable company is seeking a Web Developer who is proficient with JSP, JavaScript, HTML and other programming languages to support company web projects. The Web Developer works closely with both the IT Team and the Web Marketing Team to maintain and enhance a custom Oracle iStore 11i website. This includes translating business needs into technical requirements and implementing solutions, as well as making sure the look and feel of the website meets company standards.
Work with Web Marketing, designers, producers, and IT department to accomplish website goals
Responsible for developing and implementing all website initiatives to achieve functionality between front and back-end
Work closely with IT during future site redesigns and database upgrades
Assist with administering Apache web server for website
Implement and support automated observation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of web server software, website availability, and e-commerce functions
Follow SEO best practices across the site to make sure it is optimized for natural searches

Experience/Skills
Front-end web development, to integrate smoothly with Oracle back-end
JSP, HTML/CSS and JavaScript required
Experience converting Photoshop web designs to HTML
Working knowledge of Linux (Redhat) and Apache
PL/SQL and/or AJAX preferred
Oracle iStore 11i experience a major plus
