Description
Robert Half Technology is looking for a Web Developer for a contract to hire opportunity. We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 2 years experience with web development using PERL, PHP or similar web languages. Candidate must have experience using Linux and open-source products and tools.Experience developing web applications using LAMP technologies with SQL and database programming is necessary. PERL / PHP development skills with familiarity in CSS, XHTML and JavaScript is also important.Additional skills with mod_perl and HTML::Mason, AJAX or JSON is a plus. Use of Subversion or other source code management and build tools also a plus. Any familiarity with search engines, caching strategies and web optimization for high traffic web sites is definitely desired.
