Web Developer

The Intersect Group is looking for a Web Developer to join our client's team in downtown Atlanta! This is a long term contract opportunity!

Position Description
Develop Web Pages and other Web content and support for content management systems for client's website. Participate in redesign work for the Homepage as well as other site features. Develop templates and tools for Content Management Systems. Handle all phases of development including design, coding, testing and implementation. Support all live events coverage through the client's website.

Qualifications (background, education, experience, and other requirements)
3 to 5 years experience developing Websites for business purposes on Unix and Linus. Thorough knowledge of HTML, DHTML, CSS Javascript, PERL/CGI, and Java Server Pages. Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Attention to details, a must. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and work under occasionally intense schedule pressure meeting hard delivery dates that cannot be moved. Development experience with XML, SQL, Automation, Source Control, CSS and XSLT a plus
