We have an immediate need for a Web Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Web Engineer for a 9 months Contract in San Francisco to design new WebLogic and other Middleware environments based on measured server metrics to ensure stability, capacity and performance goals are achieved. The person will consult at the highest technical level with clients and IT management and staffs enterprise-wide on design, planning, integration, implementation, scalability, problem definition and resolution of Web and E-commerce engineering issues involving the interrelated demands of hardware, software, telecommunications, security and control. The consultant will also be responsible for tactical topics such as system interfaces, integration of E-commerce with core business systems, systems availability and response targets, customer service and support.

Experience Required:

• 10 or more years technical background and 6 years directly related Web engineering experience.
• 10 years experience managing Web and Middleware environments (Apache, Tuxedo, IIS, WebLogic, JRE)
• 10 years experience in Administration and Engineering with Linux/Unix/Solaris and Windows operating systems in a mid- to large-size production environment.
• Shell Scripting or python experience in server administration.
