Description
Job Function:
Manage Systems Architect resources responsible for acting as key liaisons between business, vendors and IT resources.Integrate business needs with technology requirements in the development of web-based solutions for Bank systems.Design and implement systems that support core Bank functions while addressing performance and scalability.Assist the Business Analyst Team and the Development bine analytical skills with technology to enhance the quality, usability and availability of information across all delivery channels and optimize information and operations systems in support of core Bank functions. Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

Regular Duties:
· Manage and assist contract resources with job functions.
· Assist in development of statement of work, scope, system design, and requirements documents for site development via a holistic approach that includes analysis, development, and testing.
· Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals.
· Identify and resolve business systems issues.
· Provide technical leadership and architectural expertise across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning and implementation level.
· Create and maintain architectural design and system documentation for new and existing web applications.
· Comply with Capital One Process & Standards for security, architecture and approval of solution deliverables.
· Translate business requirements into system design and architecture proposals while adhering to corporate standards and approval processes.
· Analyze and provide direction for application usability to increase user acceptance.
· Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
· Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
· Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to web developers.
· Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems
· Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
· Troubleshoot and resolve reported bugs in any supported web applications

Experience/Skills
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a systems-related field or 5 years of IT experience
· 2 years of lead web development experience or 2 years of systems architecture experience
· 2 years of Web Protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP), Encryption, and Security experience
· 2 years of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio experience
· 1 year of relational database experience, preferably Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
· 1 year of Web Server (IIS, Apache, SunOne) experience
· Experience can run concurrent
