Description
Immediate opening in DC for an experienced Web Master / Web Designer. Will research and stay current on all OMB Government website requirements to ensure client website remains compliant. Manage all internet/intranet websites with sound editorial judgment, maintaining consistency of design and message and ensuring information is current and accurate.

Produce ASP, HTML, and XML pages from source documents (PDFs, Word docs, etc.) Produce and layout text and graphics using site production templates and style guidelines. Participate in the design, development and testing of websites. Work with Project Manager to develop and implement long-term plans for the websites that meet current and anticipated growth demands. Publish updates and changes to web pages quickly and accurately.

Find, Diagnose, and fix web site problems, including broken links or formatting inconsistencies. Monitor, analyze, and report on website traffic. Produce appropriate CMMI process artifacts.




Experience/Skills
BS in computer science

Web Master or Web Designer experience (2-3 years)

Strong ASP, HTML, CSS skills and Web graphic production

Knowledge of government and W3C Best Practices a MUST!!

Good written and oral communication skills.
Experience with JavaScript and developing for multiple browsers a plus.
