Design and develop applications components for the next generation connected media Web Portal and internal projects



Participate in overall System Architecture design and development with the lead Architect



Design and develop user interfaces and front-end tools to accommodate business requirements, weighing such considerations as ease of development, ease of use, comprehensiveness, flexibility, reliability, maintainability and error handling



Construct complex SQL queries and stored procedures



Implement web server security. Interact and communicate effectively with business users, business analysts, and other IT staff



Write functional and design specifications



Design/Implement application security for IIS/PHP



Performance tune applications



Implement/conduct load simulation tests



Debugging complex application logic under multi-user conditions

Experience/Skills
Visual Studio.NET development

Active Server Pages (ASP) and ASP.NET

XML and Web Services

Fluent in SQL/ Stored procedures

Design .NET user and custom controls

Windows forms

Data access layers using ADO.NET and XML/XSLT

COM/COM+ objects interfacing

AJAX

.NET security

Windows 2003/IIS security

HTML/DHTML/CSS/JavaScript coding

Experience with Streaming back-ends like Flash Communication server, custom Streaming servers is a plus

Experience in working Apache/PHP environments is desired

Experience in browser compatibility issues and optimization techniques is desired

Other desired skills:
