Description
CDI IT Solutions has a great opportunity for a Web Programmer / Analyst with our client in N. Phoenix. This is a 8-12 month contract position.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise related to management of the client website. The incumbent of this role will work to ensure that only relevant, appropriate content is included in the site, which meets usability guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities:

- Check email Inbox ongoing during business day; determine if the request fits standard SLA (3-5 day) or if it is a larger scope project; send acknowledgement to sender to confirm SLA and/or to obtain additional information needed to scope and/or complete the request; organize requests and manage time to complete the requests per agreed on SLA; conduct QA of completed requests and follow up with customer to get sign off
- Understand organization of content items and steps to upload files and images as resubmit (update) or new items; use tool to process the change; conduct QA before and after item is published
- Code and test online Surveys: Provide support for coding of online surveys using a third party web based application to support the Customer Satisfaction Program

Development Responsibilities:

- Understand organization of content items and menu navigation; understand steps to upload files and images as resubmit (update) or new items; use Dreamweaver, Photoshop tools, Javascript and HTML knowledge to process the change; conduct QA before and after item is published.

- Use Photoshop to capture, create, and modify graphics used on web sites
- Misc. Javascript development: Create or update Javascript code to support content navigation features on pages.

Site Quality Responsibilities:

- Web Analytics - Omniture tool reporting: Understand reporting capabilities and tool and run pre-defined and ad hoc reports
- General Quality Assurance: Conduct page checks to check for broken links, pages that have not been updated in a long time, inconsistent labeling, etc

Other Responsibilities:

- Articles for internal newsletter: Develop communications to increase awareness and promote visits
- Project Snapshots/General Decks/Meetings: Monitor, track, document and communicate progress against plans
- Serve as SME/Technical Support for leaders, global site owners and regional site managers

Position Requirements:

Develops program specifications/detail design documents, Codes, tests and debugs applications programs. Has participated in the application design of systems, including use of analytical techniques. Works under the direction of a team leader, senior technical leader or analyst. Develops prototypes from functional specifications. Designs application sub-systems and small systems. Develops program specifications/detail design documents. Has participated in the development of functional specifications. Codes, tests, and debugs complex application programs. Assists users in testing, training, and preparation for operations. Demonstrates an understanding of object-oriented development tools and techniques, has worked on multiple platforms and/or with multiple methodologies.df-tc
