Experience/Skills
The Creative Group in Atlanta is looking for a Web Designer for a temporary position with a group in Midtown. The Web Designer role requires advance skills working with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash Animation and other Web development software.
Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Some familiarity with programming languages, like ASP, CF, PHP & XML. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of Internet design issues (browser usability, cross-platform compatibility, color and quick loading of images, etc.). Ability to self-manage multiple projects simultaneously and meets deadlines. The Web Designer must have excellent oral and written communication skills with a team player mentality. A traditional design background is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and construct strong visual interactive projects; incorporating standards including styles, graphics and targeted content.
  • Develop and maintain Flash applications for rich media delivery through Web sites; using ActionScripting, XML and other techniques for streaming video & audio delivery.
  • Design and construct HTML e-mail and other Internet campaign practices for Web sites while constantly supporting brand awareness.
  • Provide strategic direction and concept development for Web projects to manage web site growth and expand registered user database
  • Maintain knowledge with current Web industry trends and web graphic techniques and standards.
  • Support Marketing & Communications in design & production of print and offline work.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5+ years of web design experience in a design firm environment and/or equivalent freelance experience. Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the web design field.
