Description
Our Canton, Ohio client is looking for a freelance web designer to assist them with work overload. The right candidate will responsible for the following:-Design Internet sites that accurately reflect their clients' goals, objectives and identity. -Work with project managers, information architects, graphic designers and web developers to create page layout solutions, carrying them forward through development, coding and completion. -Provide strategic direction and concept development for online projects, including web graphics and banner ads, from concept to implementation. -The overall look and feel of websites. -Demonstrated understanding of Internet design issues (browser usability, cross-platform compatibility, color and quick loading of images, etc.) is required. -A traditional design background is preferred.

Experience/Skills
Qualifications:• Minimum 3-5 years of Web Design experience• Expertise in coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, emphasizing table-free layouts • Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing and quality assurance • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)• Experience with Flash production & integration • Experience working back and forth with back-end developers • An online portfolio demonstrating past work and a range of the skills mentioned • Strong visual and conceptual design sense • Understanding of interface design and usability principles • Good organizational skills • Comfortable working independently and in collaborative scenariosTechnical Experience Required:• HTML/XHTML (level - expert) • CSS (level - expert) • Javascript (level - intermediate) • Basic Knowledge of ActionScript 3.0• Familiarity with Mac OSX • Graphic Optimization**Must have examples of active sites **Must be willing to work in / drive to Canton, Ohio
