Adecco Engineering & Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technologies professionals, has an immediate opening for a Web Solutions Manager. This is a Direct Hire opportunity for one of our clients in Suffolk County.

Main Responsibilities Include:
Oversee the design, development, implementation and enhancements of company's Web applications. Act as team lead for Web Application group.
Establish project schedules and planning; project cost, time and resources.
Ensure that projects effectively address business needs and directions and follow the company SDLC.
Evaluate performance of existing IT application systems/resources, determine future needs and business solutions. Meet with business users to assess needs.
Keep abreast of new technological developments; provide technical advice to IT management and staff.
Provide training plan for staff and manage resources.

Requirements:
7 years experience of application development.
2-3 years experience in a lead/managerial role.
Must have very strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products including SharePoint, .Net, J2EE, C#, SQL Server 2005.
Expert knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques, programming languages, RDMS, operating systems and software development tools.
BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
