CDI IT Solutions is looking for a Web Support Engineer for its client in San Francisco, CA. This is a long term contract opportunity.

Job Description:

Acts in a high-level technical role by consulting with client and IT management in the resolution of highly complex, technical problems involving creation of Web sites and e-commerce applications and their integration into existing computer systems. Upgrades and maintains the systems that employ scalable, advanced technologies and methods to integrate Web systems with existing systems, enabling the creation of new Web enterprises or expanding existing business onto the Web. Tracks the development and implementation of the Web application systems support infrastructure for e-commerce, Web-based customer support and Web interfaces to databases.



Required Skills:



- Senior web support engineer in production support providing 7X24 expert technical support and consultation for WebLogic application servers running on Solaris 8 and Solaris 10, RHEL 3 and RHEL4.

- Web support engineer needs to have strong knowledge and experience supporting WebLogic applications and SunOne webservers.

- Knowledge and experience with MQ series messaging, HP OVO alerting/alarming, and PERL scripting is a plus.df-tc
