The Web Technical Consultant will support MTV+ Product Database application at Humana providing ongoing software support and new development. The current technology is a web based front-end using both DB2 and SQL Server databases.

The Web Technical Consultant will perform design and maintenance tasks on projects of medium to high complexity. Technical tasks may include but will not be limited to installation, customization, documentation, debugging, and performance tuning. Should be an expert in all the relevant standards and best practices related to the software and hardware environment being supported. Provide technical advice, counseling, and ongoing assistance and training to members of the group and to customers. Perform in-depth technical analysis hardware and software and assist in making recommendations for new technology
The requirements for this position include the following:

- Firm understanding and application of productive GUI Design principles
- Knowledge or experience with .NET
- ASP, VB 6.0 (Thick Client and Component Object Model for thin client), XML, HTML, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript.
- 5+ years experience with Web Development
- Experience in Mainframe and/or DB2 Development a plus

- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Health Insurance background is highly desireddf-tc
