Job Description

Seeking individuals with 5 years of user experience design and information architecture with large and complex ebusiness projects; experience gathering requirements and designing user interfaces and information architectures for B2C, B2B, and B2E web applications or portals. Candidates should have experience developing taxonomies and organizing information, and ideally two years of experience designing portal platforms. This Consultant must exhibit good aesthetic design skills, be proficient in user interface development for Web (i.e. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and ideally also Java/JSP), and well-versed in usability principles and practices. The consultant will exhibit strong knowledge and experience of analysis and design in the software development lifecycle with a preference to prototype concepts visually and iteratively. The consultant will also exhibit a firm grasp of Web technology and enterprise class computing concepts (i.e. client/server, content management, middleware, XML, web services.

MUST HAVE Requirements

1) 5 years of user experience design and information architecture 2) Be proficient in user interface development for Web (i.e. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and ideally also Java/JSP) 3) Strong design user interfaces and information architectures for B2C, B2B, and B2E web applications or portals. 4) Must be currently in a consulting role performing these duties from a top tier consulting firm, or one of the top design houses. 5) Top presentation and communications skills are a must. 6) Consultant must be experienced in interacting with technology/business executives executives to derive business requirements and validate design.
