Job Description: Web Design

The creation of new web pages as needed
Meetings to coordinate creative web elements, copy and other miscellaneous updates
Adding and linking new documents, media and other sales tools/aids to business center
Updating existing pages with new information as it comes in
Creating graphics including shopping cart images, back office promo graphics, general website graphics, flash presentation graphics, video titles, etc
Fixing broken links, errors, typos, etc
Communicate with CMS when errors or broken functionality occurs.
General maintenance including site error checking, cleaning/optimizing code, optimizing images, file re-naming
Server maintenance including shopping cart, maintaining directory structure / file naming-scheme, delete obsolete files
Re-design and Re-structure of website(s) to improve functionality and user experience. (i.e. business center redesign, re-organization, category consolidation)
Development of user interface enhancements using tools such as JavaScript, Flash / XML (i.e. website tooltips, photo gallery, sound clip player)

Flash Animation

Create Flash based sales aid presentations for web and standalone playback
Maintain, re-design individual homepage flash movies on all countries websites
Create new flash based web elements
Create flash based streaming video clips

Preferred (but not mandatory skills):

Video Editing

Capture and digitize video footage
Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro
Create graphic and text based movie titles
Render and encode video for playback on DVD, web, and standalonedf-tc
