Job Responsibilities

• Become an integral part in building complex web based applications
• Contribute in architectural decisions & be responsible for implementing the system you create
• Take on projects independently and ensure its success
• Work cross functionally to ensure smooth and accurate roll-out of new development
• Communicate with business owners and their tech team

Requirements

• 4+ years experience; consulting experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High energy, team player, creative thinker, and strategic influencer.
• Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSql; HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, Velocity view framework and dynamic content management.
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience in Ruby on Rails a plus.
• Experience with version control and release management
• Experience writing technical/functional specifications, integration plans and requirements documents
• Deep understanding of relational databases
• Expert knowlege of .NET and Java
• Expert knowledge of web-based application development using AJAX and Java
• Excellent time management, job scoping, and estimating skills
• Ability to provide and present technology and architecture recommendations
• Ability to work in collaborative environment
