Candidate will perform installation, configuration and support of J2EE applications hosted primarily in BEA WebLogic and JBoss Application Server. The candidate will support life cycle environments including development, QA, staging and production.

Duties:
-Coordination of all system management activities including software upgrades, capacity planning, and performance monitoring and tuning
-Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades and new products, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments
-Design and implementation of future WebLogic domain, JBOSS Cluster, and WebMethods topologies
-After-hours environment and application support will be required
-This is a "hands on" technical position and will require the individual to handle multiple projects in a fast paced software and technical lifecycle
-Assist in the documentation of current and future systems
-Adhere to all existing security and software standards
-Provide proactive support and maintenance of all assigned systems, including proactive monitoring of heap size, connection pool status, server health

Required:
Minimum four years administration experience focusing on J2EE technologies
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Experience in a carrier-class ISP environment
Strong scripting skills (shell scripting or WebLogic WLST or weblogic.Admin)
Strong knowledge of J2EE technology such as JMS, JDBC, JNDI
Must be willing to provide 24x7x365 support including a rotating, on-call schedule
Must be able to configure and support clusters (WebLogic, JBOSS, or WebMethods)
Must be able to configure connection pools to communicate with Oracle RAC clusters
Must be able to translate business needs and requirements into technical specificationsdf-tc
