Description
No H1s or subs! Full-time, WebLogic Administrator, position with our F500 client in Columbus, OH. No relocation. Client wants a local/Columbus candidate.

REQUIRED:

* US Citizenship or green card or EAD
* You currently live in Columbus and can easily commute to Dublin
. 8 years IT
* 2 years BEA WebLogic System Administration with WebLogic 8.x/10.x
* 2 years change control process administration experience
* 3 years experience Java/J2EE
* Working knowledge of change control toolsets (PVCS, WLST, ANT Build Scripts)

DUTIES:

. Position focus is on production support, migrations, upgrades and troubleshooting of the WebLogic environment.
* Responsible for setting up, configuring, supporting and managing the Web platform (ie WebLogic) environment to ensure system reliability
* Configure and tune WebLogic domains/applications for performance, scalability and reliability
* Define and Manage the WebLogic Application build processes
* Assist in the non-production deployment processes
* Define, implement and manage middle-tier infrastructure roadmap.
* Lead efforts to identify and document technical standards for Web platform implementations.
* Define, review and document platform security requirements.
* Coordinate Web platform infrastructure changes following standardized change control process.
* Perform on-call support of production WebLogic application infrastructuredf-tc
