Description
Responsibilities
. Administration and configuration of web application environments running on IBM WebSphere application server 5.x, IBM WebSphere portal, and Apache web servers
. Provide web architecture expertise to assist in delivering solution architectures for web and portal projects
. Act as J2EE server subject matter expert for development projects
. Participate in on-call rotation support of 24 x7 environment

Required Background
. 3+ years of experience: Admin / Configuration IBM WebSphere Application Server
. 2+ years of experience: Admin / Configuration IBM WebSphere Portal
. 2+ years of experience: Admin / Configuration with Apache Web Server
. 2+ years of experience: Supporting a 24X7 Web Hosting Environment
. 2+ years experience: Managing deployments of multiple applications in a common WebSphere-hosting environment
. 1+ years experience: With clustering in a WebSphere application environment
. 2+ years experience: Admin / Configuration / Troubleshooting Linux and Windows servers
. 2+ years experience: Working with LDAP and related utilities
. Experience in small, medium and large projects with commitment to delivery on time
. 2+ years experience: Exceptional troubleshooting skills, as they relate to problem resolution in web environments
. Ability to learn new technologies in a fast paced environment
. Exceptional customer service skills
. Ability to work and share knowledge in a team environment

Desired
. 2+ years experience: Utilizing Siteminder - Administration / Configuration / Troubleshooting (no. of years of each, and when last used for each). STRONGLY PREFERRED
. 1+ year's experience: Working in a "Virtualized" environment (VMware).
. 2+ years experience: F5 Big IP or similar load balancing technologies.
. Experience with eDirectory systems administration.
. Experience with automation of deployment of J2EE components to WebSphere Application server.
. Experience with PVCS and/or CVS source control.
. Experience with shell scripts and Java programming.
