Summary:
Regions is seeking WebSphere Systems Administrators who have at least 3+ years experience administering Linux/UNIX/Windows Application Servers and who are skilled in deploying or supporting environments for mission critical applications. Looking for individuals with the right aptitude and attitude to learn and support this environment.

Job Detail:
-Regions is currently seeking Systems Administrators with backgrounds which reflect success in administering multiple environments.
-In this role you will be a key member of the Application Server Administration team supporting WebSphere administration and other internal applications.
-This is a crucial position that will involve you in a diverse array of challenging projects and mission-critical applications.
-Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
-Devise or modify procedures to solve problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
-Participate in the support of development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications projects.

Skills:
-A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
-3+ years related experience
-Experience managing systems development environments in multi tiered architectures.
-Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
-Good project management skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects.
-Familiar with structured design, development, and implementation of new computing architectures.
-Familiar with designing and deploying applications preferably using WebSphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, or JBoss.
-Knowledge of Linux/UNIX and/or Windows server environments.
-Knowledge of Web applications and database technologies such as DB2, Oracle and SQL Server.
-Must have the ability and flexibility to support and manage our dynamic 7 X 24 Production Web Environment as well as other testing environments.
-Knowledge of J2EE framework and applications.
-Knowledge of network protocols and applications such as TCP/IP and HTTP.
-Good troubleshooting skills are a must.
