Mastech Inc is a growing company dedicated to innovation and teamwork. We are currently seeking a WebSphere Portal Engineer for our client in the Banking domain. Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000/ Annually

Role: WebSphere Portal Engineer

Role Description: The WebSphere Portal Engineer would need to have at least 6+ months of experience. This Candidate would be working with the team to understand the current state and provide suggestions on portal conversion and educate the team about portal functions. The WebSphere Portal Engineer would be proactive in identifying potential issues with conversion strategy and provide custom solution for the application conversion.

Required Skills:

- Experience of using 'out of the box portal functionality' (Portal 6.1 environment) to implement, personalization, and navigation.
- Should have very good knowledge of portal security setup with LDAP.
- Should have very good knowledge to setup Skin and Theme in the portal environment.
- Should have very good knowledge of Portlet sharing and Caching mechanism.
- Hands on WebSphere Portal 6.1 Expert to help with a portal conversion POC project.
- WebSphere Portal v. 6.1.
- Virtual Directory Service (VDS) experience a plus.
- Portal migration process.
- Virtual portals.
- Portal 6.1 with Web 2.0.
- Spring MVC.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Experience: Minimum 5 years

We are looking only for people willing to join us directly as W2 employees.
W2 salaried with full benefits or W2 hourly all-inclusive rates.
