We are searching for a strong lead developer focused on analyzing and implementing portal software modifications.

The positions support development and continuous improvement of customer-facing sales portal applications using WebLogic portal technology and PeopleSoft CRM content and business logic to create customer-centric sales experience.

Responsibilities associated with the design, support, maintenance, and management of the company's information systems. Responsible for planning, designing, structuring, implementing, and/or managing internal and external websites and systems. Includes constructing and maintaining back-end web systems, and ensuring the currency, quality, security and integrity of information on the sites. Provides solutions to technical/business issues with work unit impact.

Responsibilities
. General technical support of one or more specific clients
. Work with account managers and client to identify and document application requirements
. Develop and implement application modifications
. Unit and integration test application code
. Create and modify reports
. Assist account managers with data analysis and trouble-shooting
. Estimate and track hours for assignment completion

Requirements
. Java, J2EE, and EJB
. BEA Weblogic Portal supporting B2B or B2C e-commerce applications integrated with back office and other system(s)
. Iterative development methodology
. Relational database design
. Script writing with PERL or PHP

****PeopleSoft CRM 8.x is a plus

Qualifications
. 5 years of hands-on solutions development experience in Java, C++, and PHP or PERL, including preferred experience integrating with PeopleSoft CRM 8.x through Portlets and Web Services.
. Experience using portlets and web services to deliver content and functionality to end users; ability to solution presentation challenges in portal environment
. Experience using a rapid, iterative development methodology
. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, Project, Word, Visio, and Access
. Ability to take direction, to comprehend solution requirements, and to complete all assigned tasks on time.
. Proactive, self-starter able to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
. Must be able to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
. High level of enthusiasm; excellent communications skills, and ability to function effectively across organizations
. Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Must be self motivated and able to work with minimal direction
. Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to respond to client requests
. Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
