Weblogic/OCCAS Software Engineer - JS-1302

A Weblogic/OCCAS Software Engineer is need for our Client located in Jersey City, NJ.

Candidate will have a sound understanding of the software development life cycle and possess good insight into design patterns and designing applications using an OOPS. Involved in reviewing functional specifications and creating design documents and technical specifications for other developers on the team. The position requires excellent written and oral communication skills. Contribute to Weblogic/OCCAS feasibility studies. Review and understand Web application functional specifications. Contribute to Web application design specifications. Work with off shore development teams implementing Web applications. Work with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to validate the correct implementation of systems and applications. Interact with other engineering teams and other stakeholders as appropriate. Identify and recommend best practices for highly available and geographically redundant Weblogic/OCCAS configurations. At least 3 years experience as a senior software engineer. At least 7 years experience as a software engineer Experience working with offshore development teams. Strong knowledge of SDLC and SQA/SCM tools. Demonstrated experience with OOA/D/P, UML design patterns, frameworks, and tools. Java/J2EE programming on Unix/Linux operating systems. C programming. Excellent communication skills, ability to work with other developers and teams to resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to e a self-starter and require minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing Web Services and Web applications using SOA and deployed on Weblogic/OCCAS. At least 3 years configuring and administering Weblogic/OCCAS platforms.
