As a Web Hosting Administrator, you will be responsible for eCommerce software infrastructure installation and integration with business applications including application design and architecture, level II & III 24x7 PRODUCTION support, support for user acceptance and disaster recovery testing for Intranet and Internet application platforms.
Specific duties include software installation of Apache Web Server, WebLogic J2EE Application Server, SiteMinder authentication, SSL certificates, and AD developed software. '
Candidates are required to have 3-5 years experience with Apache, WebLogic, SiteMinder, UNIX, and strong understanding of TCPIP.
The candidate will participate in user testing; identification of critical processes for monitoring; and providing 24x7 on-call support. Will also be responsible for defining Firewall rules, load balancer definitions, and be able to provide guidance around application security. You will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and application development team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. You will be expected to participate in environment reviews; ensure that all solutions are aligned to predefined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application infrastructure issues; and provide documentation for operation.
