JOB DESCRIPTION

Our northeast Atlanta client (a publicly traded, medical device manufacturer) has created a permanent position for a Webmaster with Microsoft Server experience. The Webmaster will be responsible for managing and maintaining content and development of assigned websites and the administration of web servers. The Webmaster will provide onsite delivery of web development and support services that will include the following:

Working with functional users in the design of websites.

Developing and implementing websites to include implementing content, forms and templates, security measures, and network configurations.

Providing web design and implementation support for the migration of the current corporate presence website to a new design using content management software and/or Sharepoint.

Provide technical assistance to functional users in the use of content management software and methodologies.

Provide liaison between the functional user community and the information technology organization.

Track and report usage statistics, using metrics to determine opportunities for improving and optimizing web services accordingly.

Advising functional management on the availability and utilization of corporate technical web development and web support resources.


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The Webmaster must have the following skills and experience.

Five or more years experience developing web sites in an enterprise environment using web development tools in a Microsoft environment (Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, FrontPage, etc.).

Experience with web content management in an enterprise environment.

Three or more years experience using with the following:

JavaScript,

ASP,

XML,

DHTML,

Experience with

Content Management Server,

Sharepoint,

Webcast

An understanding of business process controls necessary for managing enterprise web content.

The ability to effectively communicate with both the functional and technical communities within an organization.

A Bachelor's degree in technical field (Computer Science) is required.df-tc

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
In addition, the following skills and experience are desirable but not required:

Knowledge of and experience with web development tools (FrontPage, Visual Studio, Macromedia Flash)

Knowledge and/or experience with any of the following:

HTML,

.Net,

Podcast

Microsoft Sharepoint

SAP Portal,

Microsoft Stream Server

Localization of web content.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This is permanent, funded, FTE position in northeast Atlanta. The company offers an excellent benefits package that includes medical & dental insurance coverage, long & short term disability, life insurance AD&D a bonus plan, 10 days paid vacation, 12 paid holidays, and EAP program

Compensation for this position ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 per year depending on skills and experience. A background check is required.
