Description
We are looking for a Webservices SW Engineer for our Chicago area client. You will be involved in the specification, design, implementation and maintenance of Web services software.

Responsibilities also include creating product-ready client features that will encourage and inspire the developer community in building industry leading applications.

Must haves:
  • Firm understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) along with practical development experience with Web service technologies (SOAP, XML, WSDL, HTML, etc).
  • Applied software development experience using C in a PC Windows environment
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming concepts and software design patterns
  • Practical experience creating systems-oriented software with Microsoft development tools including .NET, VC and MFC
  • Working with cross-functional teams as well as practical experience in all phases of the software development life cycle
  • Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills
Nice to haves:
  • Experience creating Rich Internet Applications using Adobe Flex and ActionScript 3
  • International Graphical User Interface (GUI) design and implementation
  • Developing mobile phone/PDA applications
  • VOIP, SIP, MGCP
  • TCP/IP, SNMP, RPC, and sockets
  • Knowledgeable in SQL
