Websphere DataPower Administrator/Architect

We have an excellent direct hire opportunity for a IBM Websphere DataPower Administrator/Architect for our customer in the Atlanta . The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing the design and implementation of DataPower, MQ, and WSRR. You would work with the Network Manager to coordinate overall network design and implementation. You would lead technology architect to support the design, development, and deployment of the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) utilizing DataPower, MQ, and WSRR while working with the Enterprise Architecture teams to define appropriate SOA standards, processes, and workflows. Define and lead the implementation of the messaging infrastructure to enable event-driven data transfer rather than traditional overnight batch data movement, participate in the architecture and design of message flows and integration solutions. Provide consultation on the successful implementation of the Enterprise Service Bus and Middleware solutions, which will include, the appropriate usage of Java, .NET, SOAP, EJB3, Web Services and Data Services in the context of DataPower and MQ messaging infrastructure. Participate in design reviews to ensure optimal use of shared services and code reuse and develop IT standards and best practices regarding DataPower, MQ, and WSRR. Provide troubleshooting, analysis of message broker flows, Tier II technical support along with guidance, recommendations, and backup for Tier I support staff. Provides training and mentoring on ESB and SOA implementations and input to the QA Manager on the appropriate use of QA testing for IBM DataPower application implementations.

Experience as a Websphere Administrator/Architect with IBM Websphere DataPower appliance experience is required. 3+ years experience implementing SOA architecture is needed. Technical knowledge and experience with designing and implementing Middleware applications is also needed. Working knowledge of enterprise services bus and messaging architecture, including installation, configuration, tuning, and security is necessary. Experience with IBM s WebSphere MQ Series and Service Registry and Repository are desired. Bachelor s degree in computer science and three-plus years experience with implementing SOA architecture or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
