Genesis10 is seeking a Websphere Message Broker for a major client in the Milwaukee, WI area.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Responsibilities:
. Install, configure, support, and troubleshoot the software and systems that comprise messaging middleware.
. Assignment will be for Websphere Messgae Broker products/versions.
. Additional products comproising work assignment may include WebSphere MQ Series, and WebSphere Workflow Server.
. The Messaging Middleware Team is part of a larger group that also supports the WebSphere
. Application Server and our Internet and Intranet web servers.
. Member's o the Middleware
. Team work closely with application developers as well as Engineering to design and define messaging queues and channels.
. Duties also include assisting with performance testing and working with the vendor (IBM) to resolve problems.
. Responsible for identifying, defining, and modeling the technical infrastructure based on the application architecture for new functionality or new application development.
. This includes the integrated hardware, software, and communications components that provide the technical platform for the application solution and supporting data structures.
. Works with application engineer and Technical Services to provide a technology solution.

Qualifications:
. Strong Message Broker experience required, knowledge of MQ and Workflow desired.
. Knowledge of existing infrastructure desired Working knowledge of UNIX scripting.
. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
. Technical problem management skills.
. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in messaging middleware, especially MQ Series and/or Workflow, either at the administrator or developer level.
. Understanding of different messaging platforms (UNIX, Windows, MVS).
