As the Websphere Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for developing technical solutions that address business requirements on the Worksphere enterprise systems. The Worksphere systems are the center of the collaboration tool set activities. It is extremely important to Worksphere that the systems offer the highest reliability, performance and security possible. The Systems Administrator is challenged to perform systems design, development, modification, expansion and implementation of new and current software solutions to address a wide range of business and systems issues while ensuring that reliability, performance and security standards are met.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Required Experience/Skills:
- Administrative experience for a web application development and hosting environment.
- Expert at configuring and troubleshooting Windows 2003 with a focus on IIS, ASP and ASP.NET configuration.
- Networking knowledge, especially relating to HTTP traffic, including SSL, firewalls, NAT and multihomed scenarios.
- Virtualization, preferably VMWare, including virtualization candidate evaluation.
- Problem isolation and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in a development environment, with an understanding of developers needs.
- Experience working with data center employees, conveying needs and desires in a clear and professional manner.
- This position will require overtime which could include weekends.

Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Programming and debugging experience, preferably C# in ASP.NET.
- Sharepoint 2007 setup and configuration experience.
- Tomcat experience.
