Major Position Responsibilities:
This Application Integration Engineer will be responsible for evaluating, recommending, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting distributed software for ACS Shared Services development and DR systems. Distributed software consists of (but isn't limited to) application server software; such as WebLogic Application Server, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Portal Server as well as any other software needed to connect ACS built applications to other systems, data and to our clients.

The candidate will also become a member of the Enterprise Applications team that will be assigned full time to existing and new Shared Services projects. Assignments to the project will be long term, to support a project through the entire development/testing cycle and support in production. Some on call support will be required.

Support responsibilities will be provided in the areas of:
Project liaison during the entire system development life cycle
Software evaluation and recommendations based on project needs
Software installation and configuration for all phases of development
Application tuning and troubleshooting
Production support and release deployment
Functional knowledge of the developed system, especially relating to interactions between other systems
Training and knowledge transferdf-tc
