Description
Maintain NT/Unix/Linux systems currently in production.
Ensure system reliability of the operating system and hardware, through proactive monitoring, security audits and recovery testing.
Develop, implement, and execute standards and policies into the environment to ensure manageability.
Document systems and maintain procedures to support daily activities.
Provide Implemention and maintainance of hardware/software configurations for Enterprise Windows/Unix/Linux systems. Generates, installs, implements and maintains systems-level software packages running on multi-user servers.
These software packages include: multiple Microsoft OS versions, clustering, disk and file management systems, backup applications, Mail, Blackberry, SQL, IIS, Sharepoint, Project server and Active Directory.

Provide technical and end user support for any issues relating to the systems supported by Windows/Unix Operations.

Lead in resolving daily issues which are brought to your attention without collaborating on every issues or concern.

Monitor storage capacity, data availability, capacity usage, performance and data reporting.

Isolates issues and works with senior analyst to correct and improve operational efficiency through changes to the software or reconfiguration of the hardware.
