Description
The primary responsibility of this position will be develop Windows© based software used to capture and replay MPEG data. Development will be at the driver, filter and application level.

Profile:
Candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication and analytical skills. Candidate must have three or more years developing Windows© based software in the Visual Studio domain with experience in driver development and implementation. Must also have three to five years hands-on experience as a software engineer at a senior level. In addition, candidate must be organized, detail oriented, personable, multi-focused, and have the ability to prioritize projects. Candidate must be able to handle concurrent responsibilities and projects with limited supervision. A positive attitude, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, is necessary to meet the expectations of our corporate culture.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Qualifications:
â?¢ BSCS, BSCE, BSEE, or related engineering and science degree
â?¢ Three years Windows multimedia development and production software development
Knowledge and Skills
â?¢ Microsoft Visual C++, Visual Basic required
â?¢ Knowledge of the MPEG2 Digital video standard (decoding and encoding) preferred
â?¢ Solid working knowledge of Microsoft DirectX architecture (Object Oriented software design experience, COM, WDM, DirectShow required)
â?¢ Experience following software engineering principles and software development lifecycle
â?¢ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
â?¢ Exceptional Documentation Skills necessary to support Technical Writing staff
â?¢ Experience creating Windows based Applications
