We believe in recruiting the best people and putting them in the right jobs so that they can do their best work. K-C’s IT organization is seeking to hire a Windows Systems Administrator.

Summary:
K-C’s Windows Server environment provides services to over 300 sites globally with 3,200 Windows servers located throughout the world. Microsoft Windows Server serves as the foundation for K-C’s global SAP environment along with a broad range of business applications. K-C’s centralized data centers host nearly 2000 servers of which 30% on VMWare. Many applications are supported by an extensive Storage Area Network (SAN) to satisfy business continuity objectives. Open Systems Storage is delivered with EMC and HP solutions. K-C is primarily MS Windows-based but also has Mainframe and Midrange solutions to support many key business applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult with IT engineers from other disciplines and effective at working across multiple organizational boundaries.
  • Manage team interactions with internal and external audit functions during annual audit activities
  • Coordinate reactive and proactive resolution of audit issues non-technical server owners and delivery partners
  • Coach and teach team members and K-C’s outsourced service delivery partners

    Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience with Windows Servers administration
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years equivalent business experience, preferably with emphasis in Information Technology or Business.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in server security and audit compliance
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in Active Directory management, Windows server installation scripting, AD design expertise, and server patch scripting

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • The experience is preferred to be primarily from a corporate environment.

    Other:
  • Familiarity with COBIT, COSO, SOX and other regulatory standards
  • Experience with HP EVA, EMC Clariion, Centerra, Enterprise Disk Library, Netbackup, BackupExec, LTO
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
