Windows Systems Engineer (Microsoft Dynamics)

Our client is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer with Microsoft Dynamics experience to join our team.

The Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting technical and business systems. To be successful in this position one must be responsible for responding to support issues in a timely manner, communicating issue status to internal customers, peers, and management, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues within the published Service Level Agreements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure company standard desktop technologies are being followed by all business groups
• Interact with hardware and software vendors to assure timely resolution to any issues
• Interact with customers to assure timely resolution to any hardware or software issues
• Participate in Windows Systems Group projects
• Participate in functional test planning and testing for the Windows environment and related applications
• Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the Windows environment and related applications
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Windows environment and related applications
• Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and taking responsibility for seeing those issues thru resolution

SKILLS:

• Excellent knowledge of Windows XP/Vista and related client technologies
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics
• Excellent knowledge of Scripting languages such as Perl, VBScript, WSH, ADSI Scripting and Kixtart
• Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of SMS installer and SMS technologies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience
• 4-6 years experience supporting users on the Windows platform
• Experience working in an enterprise environment of more than 1000 users with a large remote and disconnected user base
• Must have experience troubleshooting Windows PE, Group Policy Objects and security settings associated with locking down an image
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
